Hedra enjoyed another excellent year of growth with Revenue up 9% to £34.5m. During the year we added new capacity in the defence & aerospace sector through the acquisition of a Systems Engineering Business (SES) and by investing in a team in the utilities and energy market.
Our success in winning 17 Catalist frameworks has extended our position as an approved Government supplier and at the same time opened up a new channel for solutions work which covers implementation of software packages, development and implementation of bespoke applications and web design, development and enterprise content management.
EBIT (Earnings before Interest and Tax) rose by 10% to £3.0m after charging the impact of start up costs of the acquisitions and investment in bidding for the Catalist frameworks.
